Structural and mechanical engineering
We design. This is not a sideline: it is the technical grounding that makes everything else credible.
Anyone who hands us a management system or a patent is dealing with someone who has actually designed structures, plant and machinery — not just filled in documents.
What we do
- Structural engineering — technical reports, documentation, calculations.
- Mechanical engineering — structures, plant, components.
- CE marking of metal structures (EN 1090) — steel and aluminium for construction.
- CE marking of machinery and plant (Machinery Directive) — risk analysis and technical file.
CE marking
This is technical expertise almost no consultant around here can offer, and it covers two areas that follow separate routes: metal structures on one side, machinery and plant on the other.
Metal structures — EN 1090
For CE marking of metal structures under EN 1090, see the dedicated page.
Machinery and plant — the Machinery Directive
For machinery and plant, CE marking follows a different standard from EN 1090. We handle the route from the risk analysis to building the technical file, through to the marking itself.
From 20 January 2027 the governing legislation changes. The new Machinery Regulation (EU) 2023/1230 replaces Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC: machines placed on the market from that date must already comply with the new Regulation, with updated requirements on safety, digitalisation and cybersecurity.
Anyone designing a machine today for a market date after then would do well to comply from the outset: acting at the design stage costs incomparably less than reworking a machine already built.
Take care not to confuse the two routes: industrial machinery and plant do not fall under EN 1090, which covers construction products. They are two separate paths, with different standards, documentation and assessments.
Why this page holds up the others
On this site, engineering is worth more than the service itself:
- It makes the word multidisciplinary real: not a slogan, a fact you can check.
- On occupational safety and on environment we understand the risks of production processes because we have designed them.
- On patents we understand the technical invention because we know how it is built.
- On the Indonesia project, the structural and mechanical side of the plants was designed by us.
